सर्वोदयको आह्वान

गण्डकी अञ्चल लम्जुङ जिल्ला दुराडाडामा दुई हजार नौ सालमा स्थापित श्री सर्वोदय उच्च मा बि स्थापनाकाल देखी हालसम्म  आइपुग्दा सम्म बिभिन्न अप्ठेरा साँघुरा घुम्तीहरु पार गर्दै यो विन्दु सम्मा आइपुग्नुमा हाम्रा कर्मशिल शिक्षा प्रेमी आदरणिय अभिभाबक, अग्रज, उपज एवम शुभचिन्तकहरुको अथक् प्रयास र सहयोगको परिणाम हो । विद्यालय स्थापना कालमा पवित्र आत्माहरुको दृष्‍टिमा जे थियो यस मन्दिरले त्यही दिएको छ। आज सर्वोदयका उपज एबम शुभचिन्तकहरु राष्ट्रिय एबम अन्तरराष्ट्रिय विभिन्न निकायहरुमा पुगी आफ्नो क्षमता प्रदर्शन गरिरहेका छन । यो विद्यलयक लागि गौरव्को बिषय भएको छ । 

समय गतिशिल  छ । समयको सदुपयोग गर्नु हाम्रो कर्तब्य हुन आउंछ । हाम्रा आदरणिय पुज्यनिय अग्रज हरुले निर्माण गरेको भवन भई भात्किने अवस्थामा पुगेकोले उक्त भवन आकास्मिक रुपमा भत्किन जादा हुन सक्ने जोखिमलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै उक्त भवनलाई भत्काइ सोही ठाउमा नयाँ भवनको निर्माण कार्य शुरु गरिएको छ । आफ्ना संततिको माया कुन आमालाई हुँदैन र ? जन्म दिने आमा र शिक्षा दिने आमाको मुहार हसिलो बनाउनु, च्यातिएको चोली फेरिदिनु हामी सवैको कर्तव्य हुन आएको छ । अग्रजहरुले देखएको सहि बाटो अवलम्बन गरी पुरानो पुस्ताको  काम र ईतिहासको सम्मान  र सम्रक्षण गर्दै नयाँ पुस्ताको  पनि ईतिहास कायम गरी पछीका संततिलाई मार्ग निर्देसन गर्नु जरुरी भएको छ । "जननी जन्मभुमी श्च स्वार्गदपी गरियसी" भन्ने श्लोकलाई हृदयङम गरी हाम्रा उपज एवम शुभचिन्तकहरुको सकृयातामा भवन पुन निर्माणको   कार्य थालनी भई रहेको छ । यस शुभ कार्यलाई सम्पन्न गर्न आ- आफ्नो क्षेत्रबाट आ- आफ्नो इच्छा शक्तिलाई बढाई जुन सकृया सहयोगको शुरुवात राष्ट्रको विबिन्न क्षेत्रबाट तथा अन्तरराष्ट्रिय क्षेत्रमा रहनु भएका उपज एवम शुभचिन्तकहरुबाट भएको छ , यस्ले विद्यालय मा अध्ययन गर्ने छात्र छात्रा शिक्षक स्थानिय अभिभावक, जनतहरुमा नयाँ रक्त संचार गरेको छ भने भवन निर्माण कार्यमा स्थानीय  श्रमजीविको सीपको बिकास भै रोजगार पाएकोमा थप  उत्साह थप्न यो कार्यक्रम उपयुक्त भएको छ । यस् पवित्र कार्यलाई सफल पारीदिन सहयोगका लागि विद्यालय हार्दिक आव्हान गर्दछ ।

Sarvodaya Appeals to All

Dear Alumni and Well-wisher,

All of our lives have been impacted with goodness because of Sarvodaya. Each one of us recalls many fond memories of our school lives and all are ever grateful for Sarvodaya; without it our lives would have been completely different.  Some of us would have been chasing cattle around the mountains of Lamjung, whereas others might have suffered from the excruciating weather, unfriendly behaviors of employers and harsh physical labor in different foreign countries. Fortunately, our lives have taken gentle curves of the good life because of Sarvodaya. We are enjoying respectful professional lives in many respected specialties, while living in different parts of the world. We became contributing citizens wherever we reside and raise our families.  For all this, we pay tributes to Sarbovaya and our proactive and visionary ancestors who established Sarvodaya when there was no formal education available in the area.  Since, many of our poverty stricken parents would not have afforded to send us out of the area for schooling.

Sarvodaya has not only provided us unprecedented opportunities of education, but also played an instrumental and inspirational role in establishing other seven secondary schools in the same region.  As a result, there are secondary schools closer to many children in the area today, whereas we had to walk for two hours to get to the school.  In its new role, Sarvodaya is redefining its role as to become the epicenter for higher education to all feeder schools surrounding it.

On a happier note, Sarvodaya which was established as a middle school has advanced to higher secondary school and now has evolved into a college.  The big nice school building of our time was about crumble to pieces; it served more than it was designed for.  We acted proactively in dismantling the old dilapidated building to avoid any possible human casualties from its inevitable collapse.  It would have been humiliating for each one of us to become a passive reader of the bad news.  Dear friends, thus for all that Sarvodaya has done for us to reach where we are today, its continued existence has now become our joint responsibility.  Our first and foremost priority now is to rebuild the old school building.

We feel privileged for being entrusted the responsibility of connecting you all in organizing the “Sarvodaya Support Funds”.  We all must fully understand the hard works that we have to put together to implement the reconstruction of Sarvodaya and we are committed to do our part. At the same time, we are a little overwhelmed by the scale of the project and the needed funds.  Therefore, we request for your tremendous generosity in donating anyway possible for the survival of our foundation that has brought us where we are today. The old building will be replaced by a newly designed; RCC framed earth quake safe structure. We tried hard to preserve the old facade to the extent possible.  Materials have been purchased, construction workers have been mobilized, and the communities have been organized to take their share of responsibilities.  Together united as one moving force we can do it !
